I’m sure you remember the Kotova family, we’ve chased them around the globe several
times now. And guess what? They’ve recently appeared on our radar again. We have
several alert systems, social listening and backdoors active to monitor persons of interest.
Earlier today, we noticed that the Instagram account of Elena Kotova, Maksim’s daughter,
became active again after several years.

It seems she’s in Colombia now with her new boyfriend, who she refers to as Carlos. After
some digging Julia suspects this might be Carlos Oliveira, son of Hector Oliveira, the head
of the infamous Barracuda Cartel. Shortly after this discovery, we contacted the
Colombian Police. According to them, Carlos is suspected of taking over the cartel from
his father, who is currently serving a life sentence in La Picota prison in Bogotá.

Now it seems our monitoring is paying off, the Colombian Government just hired us to find
a connection that proves Carlos Oliveira has taken over cartel operations from Hector
Oliveira. Additionally, they want incriminating evidence to also put Carlos away for life.

Julia is currently creating profiles and mapping relationships. I've asked Joaquin to prepare
a flight plan to Carthagena, Colombia. According to Julia that’s where they’re currently
located. There’s an airport in the city, we’ll land and set up field operations. Liam and
Gabriel will provide protection, while Joaquin will join them once we’re on the ground. His
Spanish skills will be invaluable.

Your task right now is to follow Elena Kotova’s digital trail, which starts with her Instagram
account. You’ll eventually have to make the connection to Carlos Oliveira and find the
evidence we need.
