1 Read the given passage carefully and answer the following questions:
Once upon a time, a lion lived in a forest. He was very proud and thought he was
the strongest animal. Every day, he hunted animals for food, even when he was
not hungry. All the animals were very worried. One day, the animals decided to
talk to the lion. They said, “Oh King, you are strong and brave. But please do not
kill all of us. We will send one animal to you every day for your food.” The lion
agreed. The next day, it was the rabbit’s turn. The rabbit was very clever. He
walked slowly to the lion’s den. The lion was angry and shouted, “Why are you
late?” The rabbit bowed and said, “Oh King, I met another lion in the forest. He
said he was the real king and wanted to fight you. “The lion became furious.
