Why do people explore the farthest reaches of the globe? For John Clouse and Park
Thompson, the motivation is not curiosity, fame or fortune. It is just to break records.
The two men, both in their sixties, are members of the Travellers' Century Club. To
belong to this club, a person must have travelled to at least one hundred countries. The
