Crochet dragon

Abbreviations:

• MR = Magic Ring
• ST = Stitch
• SC = Single Crochet
• CH = Chain
• INC = Increase
• DEC = Decrease
• W – 4sc in same st
• HDC : half double crochet
• T : Half double crochet decrease
• DC: double creochet
• BO : Bobble Stitch [YO (like you’re about to make a Double Crochet), insert your hook
into the ST, YO and pull up a loop, YO again and pull through the first 2 loops] x 3 --
you’ll have 4 loops on your hook. YO one last time and pull through all 4 loops.
• Slst = slip stitch

Materials:

• Yarn
o Black
o White
• 2.5-3mm crochet hook
• Felt fabric is commonly used for making details like eyes or dragon spikes.
• Stuffing
• Stitch marker
• Fabric glue
• steel wire (Steel wire can be used to reinforce the dragon's wings, making them sturdy.
You can also insert it into the tail to make it more flexible and poseable.)
• Scissors
• Needle (for sewing details)
• You can change the yarn colors as you wish. If you want the finished product to be larger,
use thicker yarn. For reference, I used 2.5mm yarn to create a Grinch that is about 15cm
tall. Adjust the hook size accordingly to maintain proper tension and shape. If you wish to
make a larger or smaller version of this Amigurumi, you can just use a thicker or thinner
yarn/crochet hook.
