integers.

A={ x / x2 −4 x +3=0 } C={ x /x ∈ P , x< 3 } E= {1 , 2 } G={ 3 ,1 }

B= { x / x 2−3 x +2=0 } D={ x / x ∈ P , x is odd , x <5 } F= {1 , 2 ,1 } H= {1 , 1, 3 }

2. List the elements of the following sets where P = {1, 2, 3, … }.

a . ¿ A= { x /x ∈ P , 3< x <12 } c . ¿ C={ x /x ∈ P , 4 + x=3 }

b . ¿ B= { x / x ∈ P , x iseven , x <12 } d .¿ D={ x /x ∈ P , x is a multiple of 5 }

3. Determine if the set given is finite or infinite

a. A = { seasons of the year },

b. B = { cities∈the Philippines },

c. C = { positive integersless than1 },
