Aristotle & The Golden Mean: Prepared By: Ashraf Warsi From College Section

Aristotle studied at Plato's Academy as a student before becoming a researcher and teacher. He believed that happiness was the ultimate purpose of human life. For humans, happiness involved finding the golden mean, or balance, between two extremes through the exercise of virtue. Aristotle saw happiness as the perfection of human nature through rational thought, not a temporary pleasure or virtue alone.
