PURPOSE OF THE BOARD EXAM
• “Preparation for the Criminologist
Licensure Examination starts from the
moment you step in the university”
• “It is not too late to start preparing”

THE MOST IDEAL TIME TO PREPARE

FOR THE BOARD EXAMS
FUNDAMENTALS OF
OVERCOMING THE BOARD EXAM
• Set your mind that you are taking the exam. Review only
when your mind is ready, do not push yourself too hard,
learn to control pressure and master focus. The most
important thing above all is to pray a lot. Don’t settle on
trusting your own capabilities, offer everything onto the
Lord Almighty and it will surely give you enough
confidence to pass exam.

MIND SETTING
• Discipline yourself. As much as possible get rid of
distractions like social media. Free yourself from
negativism. Be optimistic. Humble yourself. Be open to
new knowledge and don't act that you know everything.
Don't be easily discouraged. Accept the fact that there are
people better than you. Just be yourself.

SELF DISCIPLINE
• SLEEP
• EAT
• EXERCISE

SEX IS LIFE
• Don't end the day without reading some of your notes. Keep on
reading and reading. Do that as your daily routine. Work for it as
if everything depends on work and pray harder as if everything
depends on prayer.
• We have 24 hours a day, divide it by 3, 8 hours for sleep, 8 hours
for other things and another 8 hours for
reviewing/studying/solving. Use your time wisely.
• Suffer now, party later. Dreams are only dreams without hard
work and perseverance. Don't let your dreams be dreams! Work
hard for it. Take down notes, do not be absent in review days,
drink more water, focus on your goals and set aside those
distracting thoughts! Study well and pray harder.

REVIEW
• If you have a dream, go for it, hold on to it. Keep trying and
don't give up until you reach it. Always remember that there’s
no limit to what you can do if you keep believing in yourself.
• Just be yourself in taking the exam and do not be too much
confident because, at the end if you fail, it's so embarrassing
and its true! do whatever you can do, accept the outcome
whether you pass or not, lastly, the most important thing is do
not give up if you fail. Just try and try until you pass, God has
its purpose for everything.
• “A tree of a Positive Result is a seed of a Positive Mind”.

CONFIDENCE
• How to attain success? Pray to God, never pull other
people down, never think that life is a competition, help,
coordinate and cooperate, put your feet on the ground,
remember where you came from, give yourself a break,
remember that there are a lot of people behind you,
cheering for you. Believe that with God nothing is
impossible and never give up.

HUMILITY
• Ask it from our Savior. Don't let your plans, dreams and
goals be the like instead make it happen, turn it into
reality. Be optimistic and prayerful at all times. Keep the
faith, positive attitude and tenacity burning. If You really
want to pass or more than that, don’t waste time. Prepare
now! In the end, if it is yours, it will always be yours.
• Pray, do your very best and God will do the rest.
• Remember 1% is your effort on reading and 99% is
prayer.

PRAYER
• To prepare in taking board exams, I believe the first thing
to do is to identify and SET your goal. I suggest that we
should set it in a highest standard as it can be and that is
to be on TOP. For if ever you didn't make it on top for
sure you'll passed. Secondly, gather ALL the possible
reviewers from highly trusted resources. It is better to
know more about everything so you can have as much as
idea you needed in taking and answering the actual
questions in the actual examinations.
