Introduction

• A mobile phone is a wireless handheld device that allows users to


make and receive calls.

• While the earliest generation of mobile phones could only make


and receive calls, today’s mobile phones do a lot more,
accommodating web browsers, games, cameras, video players and
navigational systems.

• Also, while mobile phones used to be mainly known as “cell


phones” or cellular phones, today’s mobile phones are more
commonly called “smartphones” because of all of the extra voice
and data services that they offer.
Advantages

1. Mobile Phone as a Source of Information

In the case of emergency people use can use a mobile phone for contacting their relatives.

Most people used mobile phones in scrolling their timeline of social media platforms

4. Internet Access Through Mobile Phones


mobile phones can access the internet. People have not to go to net cafes for using the
internet or sit in front of computers for accessing the internet. They easily can access
the internet through their mobile phones from anywhere.

1. Mobile Phones Cause Isolation


We all know that using mobile phones all the time causes addiction to mobile phones
and addiction to using mobile phones causes a lot of mental disorders in people.

2. Mobile Phone Wastage of Time


Mostly the teenagers and students get affected by this. They always want to use mobile
phones for playing video games, watching movies, listening to songs and other kinds of
entertainment, and waste their precious time.

3. Mobile Phone Distraction


Most road accidents happen due to the use of mobile phones while driving. Using mobile
phones too much can put someone’s life in danger.

4. Mobile Phone Addiction


The addiction to using mobile phones all the time causes a lot of other kinds of mental
disorders and also causes rises in dangerous health diseases.
Conclusion

Mobile has brought on a whole new age of technology and they do make life more
Convenient in terms of communication. However, the side effects of cell phones and the
distractions that they are cause many dangerous and unhealthy situations to occur.
Mobile cause brain damage, car accidents and are distractions at school.
