Promiscuity is on the rise in Indonesia, especially in large cities, according to 2010 data from BKKBN that found 51% of adolescents have lost their virginity. Approximately 64 million Indonesian teenagers are vulnerable to engaging in casual sex. Teenagers may engage in promiscuous behavior due to trying to please peers and being easily influenced. This can lead to issues like HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancy which may result in expulsion from school, depression, abortion, and in some cases suicide. The conclusion calls for better sex education programs in schools and guidance from parents to help youth understand relationships and avoid casual sex.

Free Sex
The beginning of a teenager falling into promiscuity is the wrong to
get along and easily influenced by his friends who are not right. Most
of these teenagers want to be praised and said to be slang by their
friends without thinking about the impact and consequences that are
sustainable. The purpose of getting along is not that we have to be
picky in socializing, we are allowed to hang out with anyone as long as
we are not easily influenced and stick to religious norms and
applicable legal norms, because slang does not have to have free sex.
HIV / AIDS
It is not surprising that the number of people living with
HIV/AIDS and women, especially teenagers/school children,
are pregnant out of wedlock. Pregnancy out of wedlock will
be very problematic for the perpetrator.
Depression
Especially for teenagers who are still in school, the school will
expel the perpetrator if it is found that a student is pregnant.
Meanwhile, for perpetrators who study pregnant out of wedlock,
it will cause tremendous shame, especially parents. The
occurrence of pregnancy out of wedlock due to free sex will
block the perpetrator’s way of thinking, in order to cover up the
disgrace or find a way out so as not to damage the good name of
himself and his family this can lead to fetal murder through
abortion and even suicide
Conclusion
Around the world, sex education programs are run to teach school students about
reproductive health, sexual abstinence, and birth control. To the parents, give all
the best for the child but still pay attention to guiding and directing the teenager by
giving the correct view of the perception of courtship in order to avoid
promiscuous sex.

For the younger generation to set clear goals and direction in life, learn to know
themselves better, increase their faith and piety by filling in useful activities and
associating with friends properly so that they can avoid and fall into free sex
behavior
