• Kudu Industries Limited is a Public incorporated on 20 March 1990. It is classified as Non-government

company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Chandigarh.

• Directors of Kudu Industries Limited are Gaurav Mittal, Ganga Bishan Mittal, Shilpa
Merchandising :

• Merchandiser deals with the buyers .

• Buyers gives there suggestions according to there taste and takes all the specification e.g.. if the buyers want t-shirt to be constructed

then speciation of the shirts ( which type of neckline ,collar, button which thread and which type of fabric to be used .

• Spec sheet : A garment specification (spec) sheet, or measurement table, is a technical document that contains all construction details of

the garment. It looks like a technical diagram or a sketch of a garment, including all of its measurements. Spec sheets are used by designers

to communicate design concepts to manufacturers.

• Test fit garment: The fitting test shows how the product will look when worn. To execute this test,

the quality inspector performs a test on mannequins as per above, or on real models if available.

He puts each garment on the mannequin and performs a general check. The garment should

properly hold and look nice.

• Protosample : also known as the first sample. The proto samples are normally made of matching fabric quality (weight and fabric types),

as during proto sample development actual fabric are not available with the factory. The proto sample in made in one size.

• Final sample : final sample of garments are made and when it gets finalized then the lot is made of garments according to the decided

give final look . We went to kudu
industry and there we see large
production of fabric and also learn
some the mechanism of machine

 After production there is the process of cutting


 The fabric is layered into approx. 40 to 50 layers and then the pattern
making sheet is kept onto the upper layer and then it is cut according to
it
 Cutting the whole lots of fabric ,then fabric is tied into bundles which
includes all the parts into the stitching .
• Then these bundles are passed to the stitching department .

• Each different part is stitched by


different persons ,and then passed to
another person .

• After whole sewing process then the clothes are washed and then finally tagged
Observation
• This Industrial visit is very helpful in our future practical Life & bring a positive
change in our thinking & practical behavior regarding Education & specializing
our technical skills.
• Got practical knowledge about the advancement in technology of machines .
• I come to know about the fabric and thread count .

Conclusion
• I are thankful for all our faculties for organizing such an Informative event for
us in crucial for development of our practical skills regarding tool and the
fabrics
• I got the knowledge on different types of machines used in knitting and had
an opportunity to research on it.
• I hope to get more chances further to have such an informative &
wonderful experiences of visiting different industries.
