PAST PERFECT TENSE
The past perfect tense talks about a past
action that was completed before
another past action started.
In using the past perfect tense, a helping
verb had is added before the past
participle. The helping verb had is the
past form of has and have. Had +past
participle.
PAST PERFECT TENSE
 PAST PERFECT TENSE is used when you are talking about
a completed action before something in the past
 PAST PERFECT TENSE is form by using the word “had” +
past participle of the verb.
 It expresses activities that existed or occurred before
another activity in the past.

Last night, Dane and Emily danced in a competition.
