TABLE AND CHARTS USING EXCEL

Introduction:

Analyzing the Amazon Prime TV dataset provides valuable insights into viewer preferences
and the performance of different shows. In this analysis, we will explore key aspects,
including season-wise IMDb ratings and viewership patterns across different age groups.

Data Overview:

The dataset comprises information on various TV shows available on Amazon Prime,

encompassing details such as show name, number of seasons, IMDb ratings, and viewer age
groups. This dataset serves as the foundation for our exploration into the world of Amazon
Prime TV.

10
Number of Seasons vs IMDb Rating Analysis:

To evaluate the relationship between the number of seasons and IMDb ratings, we'll employ
statistical measures and visualizations. This analysis aims to uncover trends, patterns, and
potential correlations that may influence a show's IMDb rating based on its season count.

Number of Seasons vs Viewers Age Group Analysis:

Understanding how the number of seasons correlates with viewer age groups is crucial for
content creators and platform strategists. We will delve into the dataset to discern viewing
preferences among different age demographics, shedding light on which age groups favor
shows with varying season lengths.

These analyses collectively offer a comprehensive understanding of the Amazon Prime TV

dataset, helping stakeholders make informed decisions in content creation and platform
optimization.

GRAPHS USING POWER BI

Bar Graph –Year of Release

Since a lot many TV shows have high IMDB ratings but don't
get viewed that much because the audience is not aware of it or it is
not advertised much. I have created this data set so as to find
out the highest-rated shows in each category or in a particular genre.

14
Pie Chart – IMDB rating by no of seasons:

The pie chart provides a comprehensive overview of the contribution

of each IMDB rating to the no of seasons. Each rating is represented
by a slice of the pie, with the size of the slice proportional to its
share of the overall no of seasons. This visualization offers a clear
and intuitive representation of the distribution of sales among different
products in a given month.

15
Line Chart – Year of Release by Age Of Viewers:
The line chart depicts the monthly sales trends for each product within their
respective categories. Each years of release is represented by a distinct line,
and the x-axis represents the age of the viewers. This visualization allows
for a comparative analysis of sales patterns over time, facilitating the
identification of trends and seasonality within each category.
