Information Systems
Decision Making Made Upon:
Inventory, The rate at which inventory is sold, The market sizes at various
colleges.
Some of the systems we will be putting in place:
Survey analysis, in case we want to take another survey to gauge our
market
Inventory control, the system will track how much inventory we have, the
rate at which it is being sold among other things
Sales tracking, this system will allow us to figure out who our best
customers are and which distribution channel is most efficient.
Financial system- this system will track our finances and transactions and
also allow the CFO to get an overview of the financial situation of the
company
As of now, we are definitely using Access to do the survey analysis,
inventory control, sales tracking. For the financial system, we are still
debating as to use Excel or Access

Website Use:
The website will be used primordially to get our name
out. The website will help raise awareness of our
product which is new to an old market. We hope to
have advertising links to our page on multiple other
pages which are known to be high traffic areas for
businesses that we believe would be interested in
buying our product in bulk and selling it at their place
of employment. There will be a page so that large and
small business owners can contact us for ordering
information on our product. This page will also be a
source for them to ask us any question they have on
the product. At the present time, we believe we can
develop the entire website and IT system in-house.
Community Service Project
The project we selected is: Cradles to Crayons (cradlestocrayons.org)
The project was approved by the Bernon Center.
The organization's goal is to provide needy children with clothing. Our members
will choose out the outfits for the children assigned for us. We will go to around
6 events and all members will be involved for at least 6 hours.
It aligns with our business and organizational goals because it gives us a
motivation to work harder to earn more money to support all the children in the
program. It connects us with the younger generation and we will help shape their
lives by helping them. Some of us had a hard childhood and a nice organization
like this one helps.
The human need met by this project is that it supports parents and adults who care
for these children and it also keeps the children happy. There is no value to how
much a child loves his or her new outfit carefully chosen by people not much
older than them.

Team Contract
As members and department heads of this FME business company, each and every one of us must recognize, understand, and abide by certain
and mandatory procedures and requirements that will be the foundation for the works and progression of the company. Communication,
compromise, comfort, progression, and respect are the essential factors that all members and departments must consider and fully engage in.
This will allow our company to aim for success in a workable and efficient business atmosphere.
Conduct and values correlate to this foundation of the business and the organizational structure as well. In all business meetings,
respect for speakers is priority, as time and reasoning are of the essence. All department members must listen to and work with their department
heads and the VP’s, and all department heads must disclose all news, progression, and documents to the COO. The COO must contact the
CEO’s with this news when necessary, which means that all department channels from the CEO’s to community service must be in constant
association and communication with each other.
Moreover, business ethics and professionalism in this company constitute the stability of the organizational framework. This
means that respect, trust, and member courtesy must be constantly expressed towards members and department heads. If a problem arises
amongst a department concerning related issues, heads of departments must contact the COO and HR. Both the COO and HR will then meet
with the CEO’s for meetings that will alleviate any tension among departments or members, that will conflict with and hinder the company
goals and vision. Any individual issues between two or more members must not be solved or inflated amongst departments, or in groups. If such
is the case, the individuals involved must consider their business ethics and company professionalism to solve the issue in private or bring it to
the attention of their department heads.
In addition, the CEO’s recognize the rigor and challenges this company must meet and deal with to become a success. By
considering the former statements and requirements, this will ultimately happen. Yet through this, the CEO’s expect that everyone and each
department enjoy this opportunity to learn and make something great. This is a time to grow and accomplish the company goals and endeavors
as a team. We must all enjoy ourselves in doing so.
