• Warn others: Shout "Fire!" to alert others in the vicinity
as you evacuate.
• Feel the door: Before opening a door, feel it with the
back of your hand. If it's hot, do not open it and find
another exit.
• Use the stairs: Always use the stairs during a fire, never
elevators.
