OVERVIEW-TRAINING &
PLACEMENT
Training & Placement Cell compliments the efforts of the members of faculty by organizing value-addition
programmes and providing placement opportunities to students. It acts as one of the major interfaces with
the corporate sector and helps in developing the industry-academia inter-relationship.
Training & Placement program for the students are effectively & professionally done by the Training
& Placement Cell of the college. Our students have been successfully placed in BHUSHAN POWER &
STEEL LTD, RELIANCE JIO INFOCOM, TATA STEEL, BYJU’S,C-CORE INDIA , MEETRA ENERGY PVT. LTD., JARO
EDUCATION, PAHARPUR COOLING TOWERS, ARTECH INFOSYSTEM and lots of other industrial giants.
Industrial trainings have been arranged in collaborations with CCL, BSL ,HINDALCO
INDUSTRIES, ARDENT COLLABORATIONS, INLAND POWER LTD (IPL), CEMS VIZAG,
BSNL etc.
INSTITUTION PLACEMENT PROCESS
A) 1st year Orientation Program: After taking admission students are not aware about the industry. By
giving some interactions with the employers the cell try to make their students much familiar.
After completion of orientation program we gather the students’s data and identify their interest;
accordingly we groom and train them for better future professional prospects.
B) Industrial Training: From the 2nd year onwards we are sending our students to the employers for
preliminary internship and we are providing them the training for skill development/soft skill.
C) Industry Academia Interaction: In 3rd year we organize for guest lecture ,workshop and seminar
with active participation of topnotch industry source.
D) Internship & final placement: For inviting industries for our final year students we follow certain
process. These are as follows:
i)Initial contact is made through social media like Facebook, LinkdIn etc.
ii)Subsequently we exchange mutual issues and interest by sending e-mail to recruit for final
year students.
iii) Other avenues involve initiation through alumni.

CHALLENGES
A) Due to socio-economic background maximum students came from Hindi Medium background.
B) Admission criteria for our college is 45% for General, OBC & 40% for SC, ST and eligibility criteria for top MNC’s
are 60% & above. Due to this gap the most of the students are not eligible to participate in campus recruitment.
C) Extreme preference towards govt. jobs from students belonging to reserved category.
D) In a broad manner aspirations of govt. jobs restrict local students exploring opportunities in private sector.
E) Most the students are taking interest in core sector instead of the IT Industry
F) Students are not interested to relocate to the other states.
G) Top notch companies are not willing to visit in Jharkhand because of the demographical problem.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Training & Placement Cell organizes 100% industrial training for pre-final year
students after completion of their 6th Semester, every year in Central / State
Govt. organizations, PSUs and major private industries across India. The
