B.TEACHER
LOA D I N G
Tutorial duration:
Weekdays: not to exceed 1 hour per learning area
Weekends (preferably Saturdays): up to 2
hours for reading, math,
and science
The Tutorial Sessions shall be treated as Remediation
Classes and shall considered as Teaching Load in
accordance with DepEd Order No. 005, s. 2024.

The ARAL p ro g ram a n d its activities shall be included in the School
Improvement Plan a n d Annual Implementation Plan.
For t e a c h e r s serving a s tutors under the ARAL Program, the tutorial s e s s i o n s
shall b e i n t e g r a t e d into their r e s p e c t i v e t e a c h e r ’ s p r o g r a m a n d s h a l l
b e treated a s a t e a c h i n g load. These sessions m a y be sch e d u le d during
weekdays, weekends, or a n y a v a i l a b l e time within the school calendar.
The schedule a n d additional m a n p o w e r to implement this p ro g ram shall
be refl ected in the School Form 7

C. TEACHER/ TUTOR COMPENSATION
PLAN
Teachers serving a s Aral Tutors
Shall be paid through Teaching Overload Pay provided that the teachers have already
rendered 6 hours of teaching load.
For tutoring services provided during weekends, holidays and long vacation, teachers shall be
granted vacation service credits (VSCs) based on the actual services rendered, pursuant to DO
013, s. 2024, Revised Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits for Teachers.
