Sustainable Development Goals
SDG 1: No Poverty
• It aims to eradicate poverty by
ensuring access to basic necessities
and opportunities for a better life.
SDG 2: Zero Hunger
• It targets ending hunger by promoting
sustainable agriculture, supporting
small farmers, and reducing food
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being
• It cures epidemics and prolongs
lifespans.
SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
• To have clean water systems and
reduce water pollution.
SDG 5: Gender Equality
• Achieve Gender Equality and
empower all women and girls.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
• Reduce inequality within and among
countries.
SDG 4: Quality Education
• It emphasizes the importance of
inclusive, equitable, and lifelong
learning for all individuals.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic
Growth
• Focuses on promoting sustained
economic growth, full employment,
SDG 9: Industries, Innovation and
Infrastructure
• It seeks to build resilient infrastructure,
promote sustainable industrialization and
foster innovation.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and
Communities
• It is about making cities and human
settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and
SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
• Affordable and clean energy is essential for
mitigating climate change, achieving
sustainable development, and ensuring
energy security. Globalization has played a
significant role in the development and
deployment of clean energy technologies,
but access to these technologies remains
uneven across the globe.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and
Production
• Unsustainable consumption and production
patterns are at the heart of the triple
planetary crisis of climate change,
biodiversity loss, and pollution.
Globalization has fueled this crisis by
enabling the rapid expansion of global
supply chains, often with little regard for
SDG 13: Climate Action
• Climate change is a global phenomenon
with far-reaching consequences.
Globalization has intensified the
challenges of climate action by increasing
global trade and transportation, leading to
higher emissions. However, it also
presents opportunities for international
cooperation and the development of global
SDG 14: Life Below Water
• Refers to the ecosystems, biodiversity, and
resources found in oceans, seas, and other
bodies of water.
SDG 15: Life On Land
• Refers to the ecosystems, biodiversity, and
resources found on terrestrial environments,
encompassing all forms of life that inhabit
forests, grasslands, deserts, mountains, and
urban areas.
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong
Institution
• It promotes peaceful and inclusive societies,
providing access to justice for all and building
effective, accountable and inclusive
institutions at all levels
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
• It strengthen the means of implementation
and revitalize the global partnership for
sustainable development.
Food Security
FOOD SECURITY
• Its goal is to ensure that everyone has
access to safe and nutritious food for a
healthy and active lifestyle.
• Proper allocation of food resources.
CONCLUSION
• Sustainable development and food security have a significant
impact on globalization. Ensuring and prioritizing these major
contributions to why a person can think will increase
globalization as this is interconnected to a person's
performance. These two significantly contribute to
globalization as they give importance to the environment
where we, humans and all living things, live.
