This is an kinetic novel(?), there is no game mechanics here, no player protagonist, no choices, and the only thing you can do is look at the story in front of you.
The plot and story focuses around Eliot, a human from our world and his story after he mysteriously wakes up in a foreign world where his only lifeline is a werewolf person that is seemingly willing to help Eliot get back to safety.
The path ahead is long and confusing so one can only hope these two strangers will get along just fine.
I want this story to focus on the characters, their wants and needs and the ways they'll learn to communicate and trust each other.
I plan for this project to be something as high quality as i can make it.
If possible, with a good soundtrack that I'll commission from multiple artists i want to support!
The story main points have already been written down and it will be divided into 3 tomes/books that'll each have 3 chapters.
When it comes to length, the demo is around 8 to 10 minutes, and ideally each chapter would last around 90 to 120 minutes, and while im aware that it's prob not much compared to the standards of other visual novels, the goal is to have a polished, very detailed and visual experience that needs much more artwork than most visual novel projects, so with the amount of work being increased per scene, it's normal that the overall length of the experience is shortened to lessen the overall workload.
The project will not be updated bit by bit publicly, and public releases will only occur when a full chapter is finished.

Hello, it's been a while since there was an update huh? Don't worry it's still in the works, it's just that the scope of the project has increased a lot and it has become something more personal that I'll really, REALLY take my time with, so please don't bother asking for a date in the comments, as much as i understand that it's been a really long wait, it only makes me more anxious about my work pace, which slows me down even more haha.
I am working on smaller, much smaller projects set in the same universe so that people may have at least something to play around with while im working on it, and I'll tell you here whenever that is done and released.
And about updates and such: If you see ANY TYPE OF LINK down in the comments, DON'T CLICK on it, even if it pretends to be an update to the game or anything of the like.

After finishing the demo, i am absolutely, without a shadow of doubt going to play through anymore/all of the game as soon as i can, i love these kinds of themes, their funny, and entertaining, and also weirdly human when there done right, the entire demo(despite being short); was done right. While I've not been working on thing in order, meaning that i haven't just been doing the first chapter for all this time, the moment it'll release it'll def be one at a time, with the wait between each chapters not taking nearly as long so dw about that.
But while i really appreciate the patience and trust for this project, please don't interpret my statement above as if i was saying that it's coming soon or anything, unfortunately i have to focus on money so the project is advancing quite slowly, and i apologize for that.

I know it's a long time, but im taking my time with it, doing more and more animation for it than was initially planed and so on, needing to redo some scenes too.
It's taking a lot of time, but i am being vague on purpose, because my main obstacle is myself and the pressure i put on myself, hence why i don't give any dates or even telling how far im in because i wouldn't want people to think "oh so that means we're getting it soon!" or something.
This project started as "okay im going to make a story and be done with it so it can be my main thing, and then i'll build on it later on with new stories" to what it is today "This story is very close to my heart,I don't want to take any shortcut on it, i don't even want it to be my main thing any more, i just want to build it brick by brick, have any word written on it have intent behind it, have every frame have meaning, while still being an enjoyable experience and a memorable adventure, no matter how long it may take me"
I know the demo made peeps really excited for this, and because of that i've been working on smaller scale projects set inside this same world so that people might have at least something to gnaw on while i work on the bigger one.
But this larger project is a personal one, that is bigger than most people think it'll be, and more personal/intimate than most would think it to be, so I'll still take my time and keep it to myself until it's done, simply because im more comfy with that, i do hope you understand uwu.
So i'll be clear, don't wait for this project, it'll be out eventually and it'll be a nice surprise to any one that has waited for it, but I don't want the wait to give people stupidly high expectations, or frustrations due to how long it's taking. This is my own thing, and i'd prefer if you kept your patience and expectations for other things that will be coming "soon-ish" haha.

Hey developer, are you still working on the game? I went to your Patreon and saw that the last posts are from 2023
I am!
Patreon is being paused indefinitely ever since these last post i did on it, because at the time, when i made my page centered on this project, the plan was for it to become the FOCUS of my attention, and have art commissions be more on the side.
Unfortunately I never really managed to make that switch and work on this project as much as i wanted.
So then i wasn't able to share as much behind the scene content as i'd hoped, and that made me feel anxious / pressured to a point where it affected my commission work too. So i decided that until i two conditions are fulfilled, the patreon page will be on pause:
-I would have to have successfully switched, meaning that i’d be able to comms quickly and comfortably enough that i can do 2 or 3 of them a month then spend the rest of the month working on Reincar. Im not there yet, but i do feel like im getting closer to that goal.
-and second would be that im able to handle the pressure, being able to generate enough content that i can not only share, but feels like it could satisfy the people paying to see these things. For me money is very important, so if i make people pay for something, unless i feel 200% confident that they’re getting a good deal, i don’t feel comfy with the transaction, and since im not able to generate sizeable Reincar content monthly, i decided that i’d remove that pressure from my daily life so i could work on Reincar more smoothly, even if it’s on the side.
I know it’s been literally years now, but im still working on it, almost every day bit by bit, im super slow, and i hate, HATE, that im this slow, but also, this isn’t “content” For me it’s more than just entertainment, it’s a project very dear and close to my heart despite what it looks like, and i want it to be the best it can be.
Because TECHNICALLY, if i was satisfied with the normal limited amount of sprites per character, having most actions narrated and such, the chapter one is already done, and has been for a while, but i don’t want that, it doesn’t feel like the story i want to create because as much as i like, love writing, seeing characters talk with their bodies, hands and such is what makes ME click and this is who this project is for, me.
You’d say i could present that version for now, to have the wait go down more smoothly, but not only i don’t think it’d help too much with the wait, but if it has bad reception, i don’t even want to imagine how that’d affect my motivation, and if there’s good reception to it, i KNOW it’d kill my motivation to achieve my vision because knowing myself i’d just start to aim for “good enough” which the whole point of this is to try to not do that haha.
SO yes! I am still working on it, and to anyone in the future no matter how long, if you’re seeing this, I AM and will ALWAYS be working on this even if my arms were to fall off and my eyes were to be plucked out x3x)b

Hello i have a strange question is there NSFW in the game well i love the graphics and everything else and how the movement are in the pictures this is not a 1 day AI text game like others and i can feel the love you put in that project and i just love the end of the demo the look on there faces priceless ops i drifted off but anyway is there going to be NSFW? And is it in bild to bild or a little animation i would love to hear it until then your doing a great job and i am happy to get the game when it's coming out until then bye! Yes, there will definitely be NSFW in this, though I'll attempt to make it not feel like straight-up porn, as that would clash with my vision for this project! My goal with NSFW is to have it be a part of the story, ensuring it doesn’t act as an awkward pause that could break the pacing. But if it isn’t for pornographic reasons, then why have NSFW at all, right? Well, because it’s fundamental to the themes of the story I want to tell, so hopefully, I won’t mess it up, and it’ll feel natural!
While I do plan on having animated scenes or bits, NSFW scenes will, more often than not, not be animated.
For the first chapter, an animated NSFW scene will exist, though I doubt it’ll be what most people are expecting.

I have a question for the developer is this going to be again a sadly pretty often "Free on the beginning but then full release pay money" game or can i have hope and find an amazing game that will be fully for free i can understand you putting time into and you also having to pay bills i think but you can dream can't ya (Don't wanna be disrespectful or any it's fully understandable when ya want money so sorry if that sounded rude or so didn't mean to)
The story and such would be completely free, that's my goal, if i include a payment, I'd be maybe for side comics, wips, etc etc etc.Ideally most people will like the story, and a few of those will then choose to try and support me through other means.
But yes, i want it to be free, the only situation i can imagine it not being free is if there's something really wrong and i need as much help as possible financially, but even then, i'd go back and make it free the moment i don't need that urgent help anymore. For me, i don't see this project being locked behind a paywall as something that could benefit me, the goal is just to share this story i have, yes im putting a lot of effort and time on it, but it's just because i want to try something with this medium, not because im seeking money out of this project. Obviously i like money, so when it gets out and if people like it, don't hesitate to help, and i would prefer to receive those donations after it actually gets out haha. As much as i appreciate the money i've received so far from just this demo, it's making the pressure greater and more stressful for me, hence why i've been pausing my patreon for a year now, so that i don't get crushed by the pressure it adds on my shoulder. I do hope to eventually feel ready to unpause it at some point though!
That's great to hear i already loved the demo a lot it was good loved the style it looks unique to what i saw by now idk didn't played much so maybe it isn't but yeah keep it up I already say it's a 10/10 gameand hopefully you can get some stress off of your shoulders

Unfortunately As always, i can't give a date, or even say it's going to be soon.
But I am working on it as much as i can between commissions and my own free time, and there's also the fact that I don't work on it in a chronological order, meaning that instead of doing one chapter at a time, i do a bit of all chapters, which makes it so the first chapters takes a long ass time to make, but it also makes it so every following chapter will take less and less time!
I don't think it justifies the slow pace, but at least you know im working on it and your time waiting isn't wasted!

But do keep in mind that i unfortunately can't work on it 24/7, that it ain't the only thing im working on, that i sometimes to take long ass break, that i also work slowly, and that in the end, im not giving myself any deadlines and such as im trying to not rush myself, this project is important to me and it's more something im doin for myself than others.
But i do 100% agree, im taking a long ass time, in fact ever since around february, i've paused the billing and such on my patreon because I felt like i wasn't able to share enough content per month or so. And it's not like im acutally spending every hour efficiently, i procrastinate a lot, and waste time rewritting scripts, re-ordering scenes and such. So yes, i agree, +1 year is a long time with no public content.
However, as far as i know, you're not losing anything on your end, i appreciate the patience you had, and im sorry for abusing it, but if ANYONE is actually losing something from the ridiculous amount of time it is taking to work on it, it's me, and i deem that loss of time to be worth it, for me at least.
Take your time developing it because it's your project to develop and well, no matter how long it takes it's sure to be great!
