Snail Game
You can control everything with mouse but in searching for hidden snails you can use arrow keys to move around
- Look after your snails and breed them to get more valuable rarer ones :3 (but there are currently only 3 types of snails,
sorry idk how to program stuff properly, pls help me xD) - Maybe try to unlock all the achievements
- I also added some minigames:D (they dont give u anything right now but maybe they can get you a tiny bit of fun by clicking stuff)

I like snails, so tried this, Overall, this same seems in development but is an nice concept, easy to play. Great artwork of snails. Function of this game seems a bit limited, but works. Everything in the UI seems to be there on the one screen.
At the start, I kept pressing the plant minigame button thinking that's where the food came from, but the food button was a blank green square at the bottom. I eventually found the question mark button, which helped as a tutorial. Loading the mini games makes everything in the tank disappear, so you need to press the load button.
Birthing the snails is the only way to keep the money from depleting it seems. That is how you get more snails for free and sell it for money. Also, the snails are too big in the breed UI, so the heart button is hidden and hard to press. The redecorate button lets you change the background with color and object options, they seem not interactable as the snails are always behind them, don't need to pay money for it. The finding things mini game looks unfinished, but the background art is very pretty.
I get the impression this game is a bit messy at the moment, but the snails look good. The graphics that are there look good. I felt there were constant problems with the UI. I assumed the game was finished, but the notes in the summary made it clear the minigames don't give anything. Only three snail types, so this game doesn't seem to have a lot to it. It is cute.
thanks for playing and a long comment!:0, i have a newer version of the game but there are more bugs so i didnt upload it, i kinda dont know how to make stuff work better and im stuck, sorry :c
sorry for the blank buttons, i didnt know what picture to put as the icons (there is also the rename button and snail's family tree button that are blank)
i wanted the snails to grow over time and also when u play the minigames (the minigames would help u pass time) but i still havent figured out how to do that
i tried to fix the snails being too big for the breeding ui by turning the snail into smaller one when dragging but it probably doesnt workxd
also adding more snails is so complicated cuz i made the code for that so complicated and idk how to simplify it right now (i drew pizza snail and galaxy and gummy snails but they dont exist in the game RIP)
so i went to try to get better at making games by making more of them but i still want to make snail game better in the future
Thanks for your response! I enjoyed the game, and I think it's cool. I am looking at snail games and other possibilities for them, because this is my first time figuring games out. Trying to dissect them and looking at flaws seems uncomfortable, but I just really tried to play your snail game. It is difficult to make games, I really like your art and the snails look a bit like the snails I used to have. Resonated there.
It seems your ideas are bigger and more ambitious than your coding abilities right now. The other snail types sound fun, even if they aren't here. I don't have expectations or pressure on people finishing their prototypes, this one seems complicated to balance. I hope that you find other good game concepts to try, and that you can make fun games. The art is really polished, so I wonder if you'll find mechanics that match that polish. This has inspired me in a way.
oo thank you very much!! you also inspired me to get better at coding :D ur comments mean a lot
