I'm conflicted as this was pretty enjoyable (and relatable, I'm also trying for a creative profession), but just as things were getting good, it ended. The art is really awesome, and it greatly aids the endings in being these dramatic, ethereal spectacles.

But as pretty as they are, they don't serve to wrap up all the loose threads left just... dangling.

Nonetheless, the author does a terrific job in capturing the frankly... grotesque drama amongst families and how that can warp you. This hit so close to home and my circumstances, that I also had the genuine desire to get up on the table and start shouting.

This really captures the dread of the average Korean-American family gathering... Too spooky, lmao. Well done!

What a game! The art was AMAZING, thecharater design and the sheer amount of CGs really do the trick to immerse you in the story. The characters are mostly despicable but compelling, i hated dan and su-yi's guts most of all, and felt really bad for the main character. He's doing what he likes, pursuing a career while he works a part time job, and they hold him to a unfair standard. The only thing i was missing while playing it was a bit of music.
Overall, amazing professional game!! Great job!

ooh that's fantastic cinematography. Haven't been to a family gathering in like...a decade, truly a horror. And the endings crushed me, oof.
My only technical issue is that some of the sentences were too wide to fit into the textbox

P.S. Sanity bar going down at the mention of AI is a mood.

Wow this game is really good!! And your first?? omg congrats!! I love ur art style so much :D I look forward to any games u do in the future!! I thought the lack of music at first was a bug but it actually made the entire thing just as unsettling as a real family reunion. I'm pretty confused how to get ending 2, but I'll tinker more trial and error later on. My only critique I would like to leave is that I wish there was the settings option at the bottom since it is a visual novel-style set up (I also kept forgetting you could right click for it).

But that's it! I struggle with the same comparisons and struggles (esp now) as Jae-Ik, I hope we get to see more of him in future project, he's so cute and I want him to smile haha

Family can soon turn into competition......very relatable and real. Poor Jake. For those who goes through this, there's a lot of people that value you and see the good in you. Family is not the only value collective people in your life. Look up more a little, bit by bit. Then, look around yourself. You're not alone. You are amazing, you just need to take time to blossom and nurture them with positive and love.

That's so beautiful and so true!! :<

Sometimes it just takes some exposure therapy and real world experience to find the place that values you.

Agree! Judgement is everywhere but if you hold your ground and stay true to yourself. Although, staying true to yourself takes a looottt effort to commit to it.

This game was painful to get through, so for that I must applaud you. It is unsettling as it is poignant in capturing the horror that is family, my gosh. The dead-eyed stares, the lack of music, the tantalizing dialogue throughout, and those endings -- wow.  Poor Jake.

Saw the art for this and was gonna play it eventually, Racheldrawsthis posted about it on twitter and I played it right away lol. Glad I didn't wait, this was horrifically stressful and relatable! The art and story were amazing, made me feel so much, my chat as well frustrated and stressed for Jake. One of the best games I've seen on itch and it's your first! Great job and thanks for sharing it :D

this was so good. i felt this game and the feelings of Jae-ik in my soul, it was so relatable... i may not be the eldest child but i am the disappointment LMAO, and the vibes, the atmosphere of the game... idk how to explain, but the feelings of being in a reunion with a family that is toxic were so spot on. I was actually screaming internally the whole time, like LETS LEAVE OMG (that's how i always felt at family reunions) I wanted to carry Jae-ik and get him out of thereeeeeee

I liked this game, also I have only be able to get one ending, don't really know how to get the other one... but i will try.

HIIIII!!! had to log in to give my comments on this game... IT'S SOO DAMN GOOD (>0<)/ thank you so much for this bec it really captures the feeling of dread and shame from being in an unhealthy family who constantly compares and pressures UGHGGHGH it's just done so well, especially for someone's first game!!!! EEEEK IM SO PROUD YIEPEPIE! i could really feel jae-ik's emotions waaaah :'( i got attached to him. he's a well-made character!!

anyway, going to the more technical parts of the game! i agree so much with the others when they mentioned about the mood and the cinematography of the game. it's actually unique and memorable somewhat.. and i hope that in your future games (if you uwanna do that), you also do the same eheh! the coloring of the game too is *chef's kiss* MM-MM!!!! i like how the colors help w the mood bec despite the pops of bold colors, the muted/bleak colors of the house really dominate in some scenes, especially the dinner, which really reflects on their family dynamics somehow! of course, you can already tell, im giddy over this game. this is very good HUHUUUUU and i lowkey hoope youu also make games similar to thiis, yknow like exploring domestic problems! thatt's i,  ithimk im too expressive in this comment, THSNK YOU SOOOO MUH FOR THIS GAME ZEEN! TAKE CARE!!! <3 :D
