香り屋パッチの機能は必要ない、日本語化もされてなくていい、GUIは不要 コンソールで使う、といった方でも、日本語文字コード自動判別、必要なshared library、Perl/Python/Rubyのdynamic loading、Objective-C対応ctags同梱、などの利点がありますのでオススメです。
