Update: The new Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 Pro Controller is now up for pre-order at Best Buy.
As soon as we get through the year, Resident Evil Requiem will quickly become the most anticipated thing in gaming, if it isn’t already, and no matter what platform you want to play it on. Alongside pre-order listings for the new RE9 going live across console and PC, a brand Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller has been revealed alongside the announcement of upcoming amiibo and details on the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses. Pre-orders for all platforms are starting to appear on Amazon and over at Best Buy.
We have known RE9 was coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox for quite a while now on February 27, 2026, but the game is also landing on Nintendo Switch 2 and there are some new goodies debuting today go along with the release on Nintendo:

And while details are still thin, we do know a Grace Ashcroft amiibo Resident Evil Requiem amiibo is on the way.
A new amiibo emerges from the shadows for Resident Evil Requiem—Grace Ashcroft, the first ever Resident Evil amiibo. Coming spring 2026 for #NintendoSwitch2.

PlayStation also just featured the game on its official site with some details on the Deluxe version, pre-order bonuses, and a Resident Evil Requiem – Road to Requiem video – there will be other pre-order bonuses as well (Amazon appears to have some sort of art print or poster).

This is a look at a “cool pre-order bonus featuring Grace’s Costume: Apocalypse.”

There is also “a Deluxe Edition packed with extra content like 5 costumes including Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu, 4 weapon skins, 2 screen filters, 2 charms, an audio pack, and additional files to find in-game.”
