Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, we are pleased to jointly host the 2025 IFSWF (International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds) Annual Meeting alongside the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) at ADGM. Held under the theme “Building Resilience in an Era of Transformation,” the meeting will bring together CEOs and senior executives from the world’s leading sovereign wealth funds to discuss strategies that advance innovation, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth. The forum underscores Abu Dhabi’s position as a growing investment centre and a trusted destination for sovereign wealth funds to exchange expertise, collaborate on shared visions, and advance sustainable growth.

A decade ago, the world looked very different, and so did the way we did business. What hasn’t changed is the ambition that drives progress. Ten years on, ADGM has grown into the fastest-growing international financial centre, a place where innovation and regulation move forward together. Hosted by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Mubadala, the meeting will convene the world’s leading sovereign wealth funds — representing more than US $10 trillion in assets — under the theme “Building Resilience in an Era of Transformation.” As the Capital of Capital, Abu Dhabi continues to bring together the institutions that move global markets — strengthening its role as a trusted centre for dialogue, governance, and long-term growth. We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of The ADGM Book, which provides practitioners with a helpful commentary of the ADGM Courts Procedure Rules 2016 and the ADGM Practice Directions, authored by Daniel Lewis and Daniel Jukes, members of Wilberforce Chambers. In keeping with the Courts’ paperless approach, this is an online publication with clickable links for readers’ convenience. It includes a foreword from Lord Hope of Craighead KT (Chief Justice of the ADGM Courts) who explains: “Until now the ADGM Courts Procedure Rules 2016 and the ADGM Practice Directions have enjoyed a separate existence, each searchable on its own under its own heading. Bringing them together in a single volume makes access to them so much easier. That is the service that this book seeks to provide. […] Updating will be another part of the service. This will be achievable in an instant without the delay and cost that would be inevitable if we were to publish this volume in book form.” To celebrate the launch of this online publication, ADGM and Wilberforce Chambers will be hosting a networking event at BB Social, in The Rosewood Hotel, Al Maryah Island – Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday 28th October, from 4pm. Guests will hear remarks from Lord Hope (on-screen) and Linda Fitz-Alan (Registrar and Chief Executive of ADGM Courts), as well as the author barristers’ explanation of the book. A QR code will be available to scan at the event to enable download of the publication. Numou, a subsidiary of ADGM, has launched the new Procurement Financing initiative, a flagship solution that enables SMEs with government or corporate contracts to seamlessly access funding through Numou’s digital lending platform. The initiative connects confirmed contract opportunities with available financing, bridging the gap between government procurement demand and lender support. It helps SMEs overcome one of their biggest challenges by providing easier access to working capital to deliver on projects and grow their businesses. This launch highlights Numou’s commitment to strengthening the UAE’s SME ecosystem and empowering entrepreneurs to thrive. It also marks an important step toward establishing the UAE’s first SME Data Warehouse, which will provide lenders with real time insights to make faster and more informed credit decisions. These efforts reflect ADGM’s ongoing role in supporting Abu Dhabi’s vision for a resilient, diversified and innovation driven economy.
