This summer, our teams took the stage with Mic Drop🔥 At FP7McCann and MCN | Middle East Communications Network, we know not everyone feels at home in front of an audience. Yet in our world, selling ideas and negotiating dreams is part of the everyday job. That’s why we invest in building these muscles. Even those who are already confident speakers can unlock new superpowers including greater empathy, storytelling, and craft. A special thank you to Noha Bashir, who not only drew on her years as a global training lead at Meta but also her craft as a stand-up comedian and facilitator, to create a workshop that was as transformative as it was fun. She guided the teams as they explored what neuroscience tells us about influence and public speaking, personalised Shakespearean (and even telenovela!) tools for storytelling, battled it out in Fake Shark Tank, embraced ‘cringe’ to unlock their creativity, and mastered improv games to think fast under pressure. The results speak for themselves: ✅ 92% of participants reported significant improvement in team communication ✅ Confidence scores jumped +3 points on average (from 6/10 to 9/10) ✅ 100% felt fully safe and supported, calling the session high energy and deeply engaging And we don’t just gauge the effectiveness of the sessions by numbers.
