Yesterday, #Presight marked a successful engagement as the official Digital Transformation Partner at the Digital Readiness Retreat 2025. Organized by the UAE Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation – under the leadership of H.E Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future – the flagship forum brought together more than 1,000 public sector officials from more than 50 government entities to accelerate the UAE’s transformation into the world’s first AI-native government. At the event, Presight's CEO Thomas Pramotedham delivered a keynote address titled “Applied Intelligence – A Pathway to Building AI-Native Government Services,” while Martin Yates, Government Technology Advisor, also hosted a workshop on “Navigating Digital Transformation Change for All of Government.” The Digital Readiness Retreat reaffirmed Presight’s critical role in supporting the nation’s digital transformation agenda. Proud to announce that the مجلس الإمارات للإعلام UAE Media Council signed a contract with #Presight during the Make it in the Emirates event. The new agreement is for the Unified Media #AI and Analytics Platform: a next-generation solution designed to regulate and assess media content prior to publication. Designed to support the UAEMC’s national regulatory mandate, the platform provides a single, AI-powered environment to analyze, inspect, and validate media content that is pending release such as books, films, artworks, and more. This ensures accelerated, thorough and accurate reviews of content that aligns with UAE laws, values, and standards before reaching the public. The platform aggregates disparate datasets from agencies and licensing bodies across the media ecosystem, providing access to a centralized, AI-enabled capability to make data-driven decisions efficiently and ethically. It offers advanced tools for searching, analyzing, filtering, and collaboration in real time. Previously, tasks such as the inspection and licensing of media content were conducted manually. The new platform will digitize and enhance these processes, thus reducing review cycles, improving consistency, and strengthening communication between media agencies, publishers, and stakeholders.

While at the forum, I had the pleasure of joining the panel discussion titled “Smart Industries and Intelligent Futures: UAE’s Approach—Smart, Scalable and AI-enabled.” I was joined by forward-thinking leaders including MATTHEW COCHRAN (Defense Services Marketing Council), Reda Nidhakou (VentureOne), Maitha Alsuwaidi (Microsoft UAE), and Dr. Chaouki Kasmi (EDGE). During the panel, I emphasized one core principle: #AI must deliver results . Whether it’s accelerating procurement from weeks to a single day or transforming seismic analysis from months to hours, the focus is on solving real, high-value problems. Our joint venture with #AIQ led to the development of the first large language model for seismic interpretation—bringing timelines down to just hours. That’s the benchmark for applied AI. We often talk about upskilling in response to AI—but I believe we need to reverse that thinking. When AI is meaningfully embedded into daily workflows, the motivation to upskill becomes natural. 🔹 Use drives learning 🔹. When technology is genuinely useful, adoption becomes instinctive, like using google maps. As I always say (yes, again!) — don’t wait—make AI part of your everyday routine. #Presight has been applying AI since before the pandemic. The #UAE appointed its Minister of AI in 2017—not in reaction to trends, but in anticipation of them. That kind of foresight signals a long-term commitment to building technological sovereignty. Today, Presight operates in over 15 countries. We recently opened our regional office in Kazakhstan and continue to scale UAE-built AI solutions across Central Asia, Europe, and beyond. This is what “Make it in the Emirates” truly means: not just building for here, but building for the world.
