We jointly hosted a workshop along with Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) to provide practical guidance on the fund incorporation and registration process within the QFC. The session explored key aspects including: 🟣 The respective functions of QFCA and QFCRA and how they interact throughout the registration process. 🟣 The distinctions between the COLL and PROF regimes. 🟣 Accurate completion of Q18A and Q18B forms. 🟣 Governance requirements, supporting documents, and common application deficiencies. Participants gained valuable insights and tools to ensure complete and compliant applications, as well as to meet post-registration obligations. The workshop will soon be rolled out to regulated firms and their service providers, stay tuned. — استضفنا ورشة عمل مشتركة مع هيئة تنظيم مركز قطر للمال (QFCRA) لتقديم إرشادات عملية حول عملية تأسيس وتسجيل الصناديق ضمن مركز قطر للمال (QFC). وتناولت الجلسة محاور رئيسية منها: 🟣مهام كلٍّ من هيئة مركز قطر للمال (QFCA) وهيئة تنظيم مركز قطر للمال (QFCRA) وآلية التعاون بينهما خلال عملية التسجيل. 🟣الفروقات بين نظامي COLL وPROF 🟣كيفية تعبئة النماذج Q18A وQ18B 🟣متطلبات الحوكمة، والمستندات الداعمة، وأوجه القصور الشائعة في الطلبات. اكتسب المشاركون رؤى وأدوات قيّمة تُمكّنهم من إعداد طلبات مكتملة ومتوافقة مع المتطلبات، والوفاء بالالتزامات اللاحقة للتسجيل. وسيتم قريبًا تنظيم الورشة للمؤسسات الخاضعة للتنظيم ومقدّمي خدماتها.
