At this year's Upper Austrian Industry Children's Day at the Ars Electronica Center Linz, it was once again time to get the soldering irons ready and go! Under the guidance of our apprentices 🤜🤛, the kids were able to assemble a circuit board with components themselves and make a flashing light 💡. In a direct duel against the AI in our Looping AI game, some of them were able to prove their speed and good eye. 🛩️ It was a great time with you - we hope you had as much fun as we did! 🤩🙃

At the official ceremony held at the House of Industry in Vienna, several representatives of the Upper Austria Central region – including Magistrat Linz Innovationshauptplatz der Stadt Linz GRAND GARAGE CAP. 🚀 AI Insider Exchange @ KEBA with insights from the Silicon Valley! At our third AI Insider Exchange, Oliver Ratzesberger – Chairman, Technology Executive and former CEO of Teradata – provided impressive insights into how data-driven organisations can be built and scaled. 💡 Using practical examples from his time at eBay, Google and Teradata, Oliver showed why guiding principles and decentralised data architectures (data mesh) are the key to greater agility – and why no data system ever remains static. 💡 The topic of agentic AI was also examined from several perspectives: From software development to energy optimisation, Oliver demonstrated the potential of AI and automation – but also the responsibility that comes with it. It was an inspiring evening full of ideas, exciting questions and enthusiasm for the possibilities of AI and data. 🙏 A big thank you to Oliver for his insights – and to all our colleagues who bring our AI Insider Community to life with their curiosity and openness.💚
