“We have on the consumer team, which is a team I used to run, the guy that used to run all of the search engine optimization for Booking.com,” Dipan says. “Booking.com is the best company in the world in a number of regards, but particularly SEO, and he does that across the entire portfolio today.”

We'll also consider how Permira’s dedicated value creation establishes a clear runway for future buyers.

“We've overinvested in new products, new geographies, new channels,” Dipan says, “to make sure that the next buyer can underwrite very clearly at least half a decade of strong growth.”
