After 34 events the Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference (AUPEC) has become the IEEE PES Australasian Universities Power Engineering Conference.

AUPEC continues its traditions to bring together academics, students, researchers and practising engineers, primarily from Australasia but also from other parts of the world, to present emerging topics in power and energy.

In 2025 AUPEC will be held from 29 September-2 October 2025 in Brisbane, Australia. This year’s conference theme is “Resilient Energy Systems: Strengthening the
Future Grid for a Sustainable World“.
