Today at the Financial Services Council’s Innovation in Retirement forum, our CEO Alexis George joined industry leaders Deanne Stewart, David Moffatt and Blake Briggs to discuss how we can better support Australians as they transition into retirement. Lex shared AMP’s perspective on the urgent need to build financial confidence, simplify retirement journeys, and deliver solutions that are both personalised and accessible. Drawing on AMP’s Retirement Confidence Pulse research, she highlighted that only half of Australians feel financially confident about retirement - and that the fear of running out (FORO) is holding many back from living the retirement they deserve. Melinda Howes, AMP’s Group Executive, Superannuation & Investments, also joined a fireside chat with Australian Prudential Regulation Authority's Deputy Chair Margaret Cole to explore how regulatory oversight can balance accountability with innovation - and what this means for the future of retirement in Australia. 👏 A big thank you to the FSC for convening these important conversations. At AMP, we remain committed to helping Australians retire with confidence. #AMP #RetirementConfidence #FSCevents #Innovation #AMPSuper

Today, our Information Security team conducted a webinar for our AMP colleagues, sharing valuable insights on implementing online security practices effectively. During the session, we covered a wide range of tips applicable to both work and home environments. From utilizing auto-updates for all devices, (including robot vacuums!), to segmenting home Wi-Fi networks. We emphasized the importance of proactive security measures in the era of AI. Particularly, we discussed safeguarding children and older family members online. We wrapped up by asking: “What’s one thing you’d recommend to others to stay secure?” Here are some key takeaways from the discussion: ✨ Enhance security by enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and transitioning to passwordless solutions. 🔑 Simplify password management with tools like 1Password, Microsoft Wallet, Google Password Manager and iCloud Passwords to handle complex and unique passwords effortlessly. 🔍 Stay vigilant by checking for data breaches using Have I Been Pwned and promptly updating compromised passwords. 🤔 Exercise caution before clicking on links and maintain awareness of your online activities to protect your digital footprint. It's truly commendable to witness our AMP team's commitment to cybersecurity awareness and proactive measures. Thanks Kathy Grosse, Daniel Lupton, Vineet P., Max Phongsack, Steve E. and Daisy Clarke #CyberAwarenessMonth

At AMP, our people are passionate about giving back - and recently, they’ve been busy doing just that. From packing superhero capes for sick kids with Supertee, helping the team who comfort families at Bear Cottage, helping to furnish homes with ReLove, to supporting literacy through Dymocks Children's Charities, and stepping up for Steptember - our teams have been making a real impact. We’re proud to support such meaningful causes with the AMP Foundation, and even prouder of the people who bring our values to life.
