In a week of sweeping award wins, we’re thrilled to report that an outstanding eight properties from across the Baillie Lodges and Tierra Hotels collections have claimed the highly sought after MICHELIN Keys, presented in a global awards ceremony in Paris this week. The event marks a historic milestone, as the MICHELIN Keys program has expanded around the world for the first time, with leading accommodations in our home territories Australia, New Zealand and South America now included. They are awarded to exceptional high-end hotels and luxury lodges, assessed by dedicated MICHELIN hotel inspectors and deemed to offer guests an outstanding stay. There are three levels of MICHELIN Key awards as follows: 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆: A very special stay - A true gem with personality. 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀: An exceptional stay - A hotel that's unique in every way, where a memorable experience is guaranteed. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀: An extraordinary stay - One of the world's most remarkable and extraordinary stays; a destination for the trip of a lifetime. In Australia, Baillie Lodges properties Longitude 131° at Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Capella Lodge on Lord Howe Island, Silky Oaks Lodge in the Daintree Rainforest and Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island have each been awarded 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 in the 2025 awards. Across the Tasman Sea in New Zealand, Huka Lodge has also received 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀, while in Canada, Vancouver Island’s Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge has retained its prestigious 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 status in 2025 following its debut in the Keys program in 2024. In South America, both Tierra Hotels properties have been awarded MICHELIN Keys for the first time, with Tierra Patagonia claiming 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 and Tierra Atacama scooping 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝘆. Baillie Lodges and Tierra Hotels Chief Executive Officer Michael Crawford said the recognition in the world-renowned 2025 MICHELIN Keys was an outstanding result and a tribute to the teams, as well as the exceptional offerings at each location. “We’re delighted to have been included in the MICHELIN Keys Awards as the esteemed review program extends to the diverse and extraordinary regions in which we are proud to welcome guests to stay,” Mr Crawford said. “We’ll look forward to welcoming more travellers from around the world, especially those who value the endorsement of the globally-recognised MICHELIN guides for restaurants and now for the world’s most remarkable hotels where design and hospitality combine in an extraordinary guest experience,” he said.
