Meet Diego, Supervisor of the Emergency Brigade at our Spence operations in northern Chile. "The rescue unit is committed to raising safety standards to the highest level at Spence," Diego proudly asserts as he showcases the support vehicle. Our Emergency Brigade is equipped with a SHERP rescue unit, an amphibious vehicle designed to navigate both water and challenging terrains. We are investing over A$840 million in growth projects at Olympic Dam to enhance underground mining productivity and develop South Australia's copper province. Key projects include: - An underground access tunnel to the Southern Mine Area. - A new backfill system for efficient paste fill delivery. - Expanded ore pass capacity to streamline ore handling. - A new oxygen plant to boost smelter performance and copper processing.
