Gaggenau Unveils The Next Icons in Australia & New Zealand This August and September, we celebrated the launch of our new cavity range—a decade in the making—with 20 unforgettable events across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. Introducing The Next Icons of Gaggenau: a reimagining of our brand that is sculptural, sensory, and unmistakably iconic. This launch features two distinct collections: The Gaggenau Expressive Series: "Two Frames, One Circle, A Piece of Art," this collection is inspired by Bauhaus principles, showcasing bold, sculptural forms. The Gaggenau Minimalistic Series: "Two Lines, One Circle, A Statement," this series is reduced to the essentials for seamless integration and quiet confidence. Both series honour our traditional avant-garde philosophy, balancing a rich legacy with a vision for the future. A huge thank you to the entire Gaggenau team for making these launch events so special and for bringing this new chapter to life. #Gaggenau #BSHAustralia #design

Last week, Gaggenau announced the Kitchen of the Year Contest 2025 winner for the 'Multi-Residential' category: 131 Smith Street by Freadman White located in Fitzroy, Melbourne, the design blends contemporary living with the area’s historic character. At its centre, the kitchen extends the project’s architectural language – a sculptural space that balances robustness with refinement, informed by stone, timber and metal The integration of Gaggenau appliances was fundamental to the design vision. The 400 series full surface induction cooktop sits in perfect alignment with the natural stone, while the combi-steam oven and warming drawer are recessed within the butler’s pantry – maintaining functionality without disrupting the kitchen’s architectural clarity. The result is a kitchen that is deeply personal and architecturally refined, with a cohesive expression of design excellence. As part of the Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year Design Contest 2025, we are pleased to introduce Vessel by Madeleine Blanchfield Architects as the 'Luxury Home' category winner. Tucked within a quiet enclave of Darlinghurst, Vessel reimagines a Victorian terrace with a breathtaking extension where the kitchen becomes the most transformative room in the house. A sanctuary and social hub, the kitchen is designed with meticulous detailing. Black timber joinery grounds the open atmosphere, while Gaggenau appliances, such as the Vario refrigerator 400 series, Vario freezer 400 series, and Vario wine climate cabinet, were chosen for their seamless integration and sleek all-black appearance. Vessel embodies a kitchen of contrasts: a serene retreat that can just as easily come alive with light, music and people. It shows how architectural vision and the right appliances together create a space for living, gathering and celebrating.
