Our Climate Disclosure Workshops with Commonwealth Bank have arrived in Melbourne, connecting sustainability, finance, and risk leaders to tackle the first year of mandatory climate reporting. Workshop 1: Prioritisation focused on understanding what Year 1 looks like and how to prioritise effort in a rapidly evolving market. Key themes included: 🔹 The market is evolving fast: New targets, guidance, and reporting requirements mean organisations are entering a critical stage of disclosure readiness. 🔹 Prioritisation matters: Defining materiality, applying proportionality, and deciding where to focus effort were key discussion points. 🔹 Collaboration is key: Some requirements remain open to interpretation, so shared understanding across the business is essential.
