🏥 Time to Think continues to support smoother transitions for older Western Australians. Since May, the short-term aged care initiative has supported over 175 patients and freed up more than 3,300 hospital bed days – helping people leave hospital sooner and with dignity. Over this time, a further 11 beds have been added, while 5 more will become available later this month, increasing total capacity to 69 beds across Perth. These dedicated beds offer older adults to access a comfortable, home-like setting while considering their next steps, connecting with family, and receiving support for longer-term care options. #AgedCareWA #HospitalTransitions #RespectfulCare #OlderAustralians #HealthSupportWA

🚀 Digital Innovation in Healthcare The Digital Medical Record (DMR) Program, part of WA Health’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Program, has been shortlisted for Best Practice in Digital Transformation at the upcoming IPAA WA Achievement Awards on 12 December 2025. The DMR achieved full statewide deployment in August – giving clinicians real-time access to medical records and reducing the risks of paper-based systems. This milestone lays the groundwork for a comprehensive EMR rollout, strengthens cybersecurity, and improves care coordination across regional and metropolitan sites. It’s a major leap forward in delivering safer, more connected care for Western Australians. 👏 Congratulations to all involved in this transformative project! #DigitalHealth #EMR #HealthcareInnovation #WAHealth #IPAAAwards #ConnectedCare #HealthTech #DigitalTransformation
