This September, members of the CKAN community met in Bologna, Italy, for csv,conf,v9 — a small but mighty gathering of developers, librarians, civic technologists, and data advocates exploring how #data builds communities. From hallway conversations to lightning talks, #CKAN kept showing up — as the invisible infrastructure behind #OpenData projects around the world. But what stood out most wasn’t the tech — it was the connection. 💡 Reflections came from across our ecosystem: Adrià Mercader and Ian Ward from Link Digital, Andres Vazquez from Open Knowledge Foundation, Joel Natividad and Sami Baig from datHere, Eleanor (Nora) Mattern from the University of Pittsburgh, and Daniela Popova and Monika Popova from Datopian.
