We also needed to make sure it was highly configurable so users could leverage it to tune strictness and customize type checking to the exact patterns in their specific code base. Without Llama, no open source LLM industry. Without Llama2, no AI industry (how many companies build on top of Llama?) Without Llama, no AI sovereignty outside the US (how do you get an LLM to speak Indic languages, Kazakh, and hundreds of other languages?) Without Llama2 and Llama3, no DeepSeek. And that's not even mentioning DINOv2, SAM, FAISS, FastText, Detectron, Fairseq, Roberta, and 1200 other open source AI packages.
