The search is underway for Esperanto Magazine leadership team for 2026 has begun! Esperanto Magazine is Monash University Caulfield’s favourite youth-cultured magazine, published by MONSU Caulfield. 📝📖 We’re seeking two wonderful writers to take over the roles of co-editors, and one daring designer to take over the role of art director to run the magazine next year. This year’s Safe & Sexy Week was our biggest and boldest yet — thanks to the incredible efforts of our Queer Officers Karin Sayama and Bailey Parrôt, and Women’s Officer Cherylin Wijaya, who worked tirelessly to deliver fun, inclusive, and educational experiences around sex and sexual health. We hosted a one-day Safe & Sexy Hub filled with interactive stalls, expert advice, and engaging activities — featuring contributions from Sexual Health Victoria , Monash University Health Services, and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Some highlights included: 👑 A drag queen DJ 🍆 Goodie bags with resources and contraceptives, featuring condoms from our partner Moments 📚 A “Lovers Library” with free books for students ✨ Launch of the 2025 Sex Edition from Esperanto Magazine 🍹 Mocktails paired with sex education facts 💋 Interactive games (yes, with prizes like vibrators!) Throughout the week, we also ran a diverse range of events including Self-Defence Classes, Sculpt & Sip, and Pole Dancing Classes — all designed to make students feel empowered, informed, and safe. All the hard work paid off, with student feedback saying... ✔️ Students rated the week 4.3 / 5 on average ✔️ 72% said they had improved access to sex education resources ✔️ Many shared that they felt free to talk about typically “taboo” topics without fear of judgment, in a welcoming, shame-free space We’re proud to have made Safe & Sexy Week more inclusive and impactful — and we’ll continue listening, learning, and growing with our student community ❤️ #SexPositive #MONSUCaulfield #InclusiveEducation #StudentWellbeing #QueerInclusivity #SexEd #CampusCulture #MonashUniversity

Free public transport is now available for eligible students! MONSU Caulfield has partnered with PTV (Department of Transport and Planning) to provide free PTV Travel Passes to Caulfield undergraduate students experiencing financial difficulty. This initiative part of our program MONSU.PANTRY, that focuses on providing relief to students experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship. 💸🍎 Eligible students can apply for a 7-day travel pass, giving you free access to trains, trams, buses and V-Line services. Imagine running around a new city, whilst solving clues and making new friends along the way. This is EXACTLY what our International Students did at our collaboration event "Amazing Race: Melbourne Challenge" with MONSU Peninsula. Our students raced across Melbourne CBD, complete dance challenges, find hidden secrets, all whilst meeting new students from across Monash University campuses. Big thank you to our international representatives for hosting the event, and Great Race Australia for taking the students on the journey.

❄️Winter O-Fest 2025 Recap ❄️ MONSU Caulfield kicked off Semester 2 with our Winter O-Fest — a three-day festival welcome new students and welcome back returning students to the Monash University Caulfield Campus. Students rugged up and enjoyed the festivities, jumping into campus life through free food, engaging pop-ups, winter warmers, and fun stalls from our partners and MONSU Clubs + Societies. Some highlights included: ⭐️Stalls from our partners: Commonwealth Bank, Lynx, Optus, and Fantuan Delivery AU. ⭐️Orientation-exclusive showbags for 2025 MONSU Members, packed with goodies from Palace Cinemas, Zuum Energy, Dermal Therapy by LaCorium Health ,Snackboy and more!  ⭐️Delicious treats and drinks:Red Bulll,Vodka Cruiserr, Cheesewheel Gnocchi and soup served byMonash Student Communitiess. ⭐️Support from our Monash University community such as Monash Sport and Monash Graduate Association (MGA). ⭐️ Hot Chocolate and Hot Popcorn served by our amazing MONSU Crew volunteers. ⭐️ An amazing turnout for our annual Cultural night to wrap up the week, which was a huge success!
