This week, NAB colleagues like Jodie Stojanovski participated in a Big Map exercise with Disaster Relief Australia, an interactive initiative to help communities prepare for natural disasters. Using large aerial maps, participants identified risks and developed community-led plans to enhance safety and recovery. This effort is part of our commitment to helping customers withstand and recover from natural disasters. The NAB Foundation has more than quadrupled its support for our major partner, Disaster Relief Australia, to strengthen corporate and community volunteering. Led by Disaster Relief Australia, the NAB Foundation Recovery Crew consists of everyday Australians dedicated to helping communities recover from and prepare for disasters. As disasters become more frequent and intense, we are proud to support initiatives that unite people and create practical, local solutions. 👉 Join the NAB Foundation Recovery Crew to help communities prepare and recover: https://lnkd.in/g7be5Gr8

How disaster ready are you? I was lucky enough to take part in a powerful preparedness exercise that challenged how ready I really am. From sorting out a grab-and-go bag to thinking about my evacuation plan if roads were cut and phone reception was down. These are the tough questions we need to answer before a natural disaster hits. Grateful for the insights from the experts at Disaster Relief Australia and a timely reminder to prepare yourself, your family and your home. What are your tips when it comes to getting ready ahead of natural disaster season?

This Cyber Security Awareness Month, we’re spilling the beans on what your coffee order says about your password strength ☕🔐 Two-thirds of Australians have been exposed to a cyber-attack or data breach and weak passwords are still one of the easiest ways hackers get in. As attacks grow in frequency and severity, password hygiene remains one of the simplest - and most overlooked - defences. Tag a colleague whose coffee order you spotted below and remind them it might be time to rethink their password 👇 Take a look at what’s available on the NAB Security Hub: https://lnkd.in/gB3_x5Wr #CyberMonth2025

During the AFL’s final rounds, over $480m was spent at restaurants, bars, retail and accommodation businesses around the city. The MCG precinct’s retail, hospitality and accommodation businesses saw the greatest uptick in spend as fans flocked to the ‘G’ and surrounding areas. Mark O’Reilly from Melbourne pub Elephant and Wheelbarrow welcomes the impact: “Events like the AFL final rounds provide a huge boost, not just for us, but for our suppliers and casual workers too”.
