At Volkswagen Group Australia, collaboration isn’t just a value, it’s a driving force behind everything we do. Internally and externally, we believe that true innovation happens when great minds and ideas unite.
That’s why we’re excited to launch our new LinkedIn series: Driving Forces - a celebration of partnerships that power progress. This series will spotlight stories of collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose across industries.
We’re kicking off with a standout partner: Jungheinrich Australia. With over 70 years of global experience, Jungheinrich is a leader in sustainable material handling solutions. Their impressive fleet of over 5,000 service vans includes a significant number of Volkswagen vehicles - from the versatile VW Transporter to the rugged VW Amarok and the compact VW Caddy.
On July 31, Jungheinrich Australia marked a major milestone with the grand opening of their new Melbourne Branch in Cranbourne West, Victoria. As part of the celebration, Jungheinrich Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Axel Knigge joined Karsten Seifert, Volkswagen Group Australia Managing Director, to hand over the first two all-new Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo full-battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
This moment represents more than a vehicle handover; it’s a powerful symbol of two industry leaders joining forces in Australia to champion sustainability and innovation.
“By combining Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ reliability and innovation with Jungheinrich’s expertise in material handling, we’re driving efficiency, sustainability and progress across the supply chain together,” said Karsten Seifert, Managing Director Volkswagen Group Australia.
Stay tuned as we continue to share more stories of the partnerships that move us forward.
