Full Stack Software Developer | Cloud Engineer | React, AWS, Node, SQL/NoSQL | Building Scalable Web Solutions

✨ Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Women in Cloud Australia meetup, where Roya Aryanpad presented an informative session on Designing Trust: Scalable Access Management with AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management). It was an incredibly enriching experience to brush up on some of the core security concepts we often hear about, but rarely see in action: • CIA Triad: how Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability form the backbone of secure systems. • IAM Core Elements: Users, Groups, Roles and Policies, that define who gets the access to what • Role-based and Attribute Based Access Control (RBAC & ABAC) : understanding how policies can be tailored to ensure security without compromising flexibility. • IAM Security Best Practices: strengthening identity and access management with principles like least privilege, permission boundaries, and monitoring policies for ongoing compliance. 🎖️ A highlight of the evening was Roya's live demo video, which offered a practical view of how these IAM's concepts come together in real-world implementations - making complex policies feel more approachable and applicable. I'm grateful to ✨ Cathy .. and Olga Shabalina for organising such a fantastic session and for fostering a space where we can learn, connect and share knowledge. I also enjoyed connecting with Yingyu(Jenny) Yang  , Chenlu ZhangDelvina J., Uliana Deshin ! Looking forward to more such meetups! #AWS #IAM #CyberSecurity #WomenInTech #CloudSecurity #RBAC #ABAC #Networking

Driving Success in Cloud & Cyber Security | Customer Success & Account Management | Backed by 10+ Years in Software Engineering

Grateful for the opportunity to speak at Women in Cloud Australia Meetup today on “AWS Identity and Access Management – Designing Trust.” We explored patterns, pitfalls, and mindset shifts that support teams in building secure, scalable IAM architectures. I also shared a short demo video, and it was great to see how much that resonated with the group. The interactive quiz at the end brought some fun and energy, and it was rewarding to see concepts really landed in the moment. Huge thanks to Women in Cloud Australia, the organizers, especially to ✨ Cathy .and Olga Shabalina, the sponsors Mantel, REA Group, HAL Systems, and everyone who joined the session! Your engagement made the prep worthwhile! ♥️ #womenincloudaustralia #AWS #IAM #cloudsecurity

What a night! Even with the long weekend and the AFL Grand Final coming up tomorrow, so many of you still came out to our Women in Cloud Australia meetup — and we loved seeing the energy in the room. Roya Aryanpad gave a great talk on AWS Identity and Access Management. She broke down everything from roles and temporary credentials to RBAC and federation, and made #IAM feel practical and easy. We wrapped up with a quiz — big congrats to our IAM champion Uliana Deshin who smashed the questions without any prior knowledge of IAM 🏆 and to the lucky draw (and rock paper scissors) winner Hazra Ali who scored a #DevFestMelbourne2025 ticket from our friends at GDG Melbourne! Huge thanks as always to our supporters HAL Systems, Mantel, and REA Group for helping make nights like this happen. 🙌 Looks like Melbourne can handle two epic three-letter events in one week — IAM tonight, AFL tomorrow! 🏉 #WomenInCloud #CloudSecurity #WomenInTech

✨ This evening, I had the chance to attend the Women in Cloud – Data Platform meetup, featuring an informative talk by Carine Oliveira how a data platform comes together at Easygo. Carine’s session really broke down the journey of building a modern data platform: 🔹 Start with the big picture – pick the solution that solves your current problem and evolve from there. 🔹 The puzzle pieces – understanding the five key layers that make up the platform. 🔹 Architecture principles – focusing on simplicity, alignment, and long-term resilience. Her key takeaways were ones I’ll carry forward in my own work: ✅ Keep it as simple as possible. ✅ Always stay business-aligned (not tech for tech’s sake). ✅ Automate tests early. ✅ Build reusable patterns. ✅ Keep evolving as the tech evolves. ✅ Treat data governance as a feature, not an afterthought. It was also great connecting with peers who are just as passionate about data and cloud. A big thank you to Easygo , Mantel Group, and REA Group for sponsoring such a valuable event, and to Carine Oliveira for such clear, practical insights. Looking forward to applying these learnings and continuing to grow in this space! 🚀 #WomenInCloud #DataPlatforms #DataEngineering #CloudComputing #Networking
