📢 Payday Super Legislation Tabled The Government has today officially tabled the long-anticipated Payday Super legislation in Parliament. While the bill has not yet passed, this development marks a significant step for payroll compliance in Australia. There may be amendments before it becomes law. As highlighted in the latest APA weekly news, payroll teams must now assess their existing processes and prepare for substantial change. Once enacted, Payday Super will shift superannuation reporting and payment obligations from quarterly to a more frequent basis—potentially weekly for many employers. This transition is expected to increase payroll administration costs.
