EPIC provided funding and in-class support for the students. The course was delivered at no cost to participants, with all teaching provided free of charge.

The curriculum was meticulously designed and delivered to maximize "hands-on" application of new knowledge and discoveries. The curriculum covered topics such as:
    - understanding the problem to be solved
    - critical thinking
    - ways software can go wrong
    - ways to explore software for problems
    - testing techniques and approaches
    - collaboration and communication
    - bug reporting
    - risk and it's importance to software testing

Over an 11-week period, students learned software testing concepts and applied them through group and solo projects. Support extended beyond classroom sessions via a dedicated Slack channel, enabling deeper discussions and collaborative problem-solving.

Several ETA graduates are now employed in IT, leveraging the skills acquired during the course. Notably, one student was selected to participate in the LocoStart program, an initiative created by Locomote to support ETA graduates. The program and placement were highly successful, with the student nominated for a full-time role. Unfortunately, this opportunity was hindered by redundancies and an office closure.

Working with EPIC Recruit Assist (a division of EPIC Assist), and Lee Hawkins, ETA provides people on the autism spectrum the opportunity to learn software testing. Our aim is to find our participants employment in the IT sector using the skills and network of EPIC Recruit Assist. Working with Lee Hawkins we have developed a 12 week syllabus and gathered the resources required to deliver our classes. My services, along with Lee, are provided at no charge. EPIC Recruit Assist are covering the other costs (such as room hire). The program seeks to help people not considered "mainstream" to find entry into an IT career. We aim to help shine a light on the benefits of workplace diversification along with the skills and general benefits diversification can bring.
