Australia's Office of Home Affairs has released its request for submissions on Horizon 2 of the 2023-20230 Australian Cyber Security Strategy. The Strategy establishes a framework for the government to take action to enhance Australia’s cyber maturity and preparedness over three horizons, aiming to make Australia a world leader in cybersecurity by 2030. Our vision is for a world where all people, businesses, and governments understand the risks and dangers of cyber attacks and data theft and can protect themselves. We are on a mission to a safer digital world. As the Australian peak body for cyber security, we welcome this call for submissions. Head of ASD’s Australian Cyber Security Centre, Stephanie Crowe spoke with Jane Nicholls from the Australian Institute of Company Directors about keeping your business cyber secure. She highlighted the importance of leaders practicing cyber security on their own personal devices and shared her 5 golden security rules to do this: 1. Accept all updates on phones, laptops and desktops immediately. 2. Reset passwords regularly. 3. Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) and digital credentials on your devices. 4.
