“It was striking to see the minimal access to energy and water some communities face — but also their incredible resourcefulness to make things work.” Nine UNSW engineering students spent two weeks in Fiji, teaming up with local villages on humanitarian engineering projects – installing solar and rainwater systems, and an ice maker to support the community’s access to the mainland markets. 💡🌊 Huge thanks to Marie-Claire Stevens and the team for using their skills to make real-world impact!
