At Balzac Paris, we engage each season with partners who are meaningful to our TPR (Always More Responsible) approach. It was in this spirit that the Ensemble project was born, a project deeply dear to the co-founders' hearts. It's a unifying program that brings together all the solidarity initiatives and associative partnerships led by the brand.
Each collaboration with committed partners aims to support several causes: inclusion, education, the fight against poverty, environmental protection, etc. Through solidarity sales, capsule collections, and dedicated days, we put the strength of our community at the service of those who need it.
In 2025, Balzac Paris is bringing its Ensemble project to life through a partnership with the Vancances du Coeur association. This nonprofit project embodies the values of solidarity and kindness through a solidarity tote bag. For each tote bag purchased, €10 is donated to the association, contributing to the project the association has been implementing for years: making vacations accessible to all.
In 2021, Balzac Paris launched its "Ocean" sweatshirt in GOTS-certified organic cotton on the occasion of World Oceans Day and, thanks to sales, donated €92,580 to Surfrider Foundation . This project raised awareness among 36,505 participants, organized 998 collections, and collected 48,770 plastic bottles and 860 m³ of waste. In addition, the team participated in a clean-up in Marseille (collecting 30.7 kg of waste, including 800 cigarette butts) and the project is part of a long-term collaboration aimed at promoting eco-design and ocean protection.
As part of its Christmas in solidarity, Balzac Paris supported the Soupe Saint-Eustache association during a solidarity sale organized from November 17 to 19, 2023. This first partnership made it possible to donate €20,000 to the association and offer 5,000 meals to people in need.
From November 22 to 14, 2024, each order placed on the site provided a gift to a hospitalized child and donated €24,020 to the Un Cadeau Pour La Vie association. Thanks to this initiative, each purchase brought a little comfort to hospitalized children.
Since 2021, alongside our annual solidarity initiatives, we have continued to actively support the Emmaüs association through various initiatives. To date, more than €27,000 in donations have been made through various collaborations, such as our ENSEMBLE sweatshirt, which has helped fund the development of upcycling workshops.
More than 230 Balzac Paris pieces were donated to meet the needs of people who cannot afford to dress decently.
Finally, a collection box installed at the headquarters allowed us to make several donations in kind.
Balzac Paris chose to create its line of handmade baskets alongside Doum For Women in 2024. Bringing together more than 200 women, Doum For Women is a women's artisan cooperative specializing in basketry, dedicated to the integration of rural Moroccan women in villages near Marrakech. All baskets are handwoven from natural fibers such as palm leaves. The remarkable basketry expertise of these women artisans has been passed down from generation to generation.
At Balzac Paris, supporting women's rights is a daily commitment. In 2021, Balzac Paris partnered with the Fondation des Femmes , which works for women's rights and against the violence they suffer. Through sales of its Les Femmes sweatshirt, made from recycled cotton and polyester, Balzac Paris donated €15,950 to the association for each sweatshirt purchased, and 10% of sales made on International Women's Day were donated to the association.
