Sustainable Brands Event Istanbul 2025!
Wednesday October 8th was big day for brands and agencies from across Turkiye looking to engage on sustainability topics, and this event did not disappoint!
Produced by Sustainable Brands and hosted by Borusan Otomotiv (BMW) Over 1,000 marketing professionals packed the Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul to take their seat at 4 stages, with a full house at every session across the day.
The event was sponsored by brands that included: Nestlé, Ferrero, Akbank, L'Oréal, Allianz, Bosch Türkiye, Procter & Gamble (Ariel) and CottonConnect.
We were delighted to speak on the Brands for Good Stage to talk to this audience about Ad Net Zero and the ambitions we share for our industry.
Mary O'Sullivan and Aysun Sabanli talked about where the responsibility lies when it comes to driving this conversation and action forward and the increased importance of brands presenting a climate-positive narrative in their advertising.
They discussed the shift in perception from the companies realising that embracing sustainability also means welcoming efficiencies, which in turn boosts profitability.
By encouraging our boards and CFO's to understand that by staying committed to sustainability, they will see that this is also a core business advantage for any company committed to growth.
Meanwhile, on the Ad Net Zero stage, Semra Sevinc was in conversation with Ekin Ilyasoglu and the Ad Net Zero Turkiye Steering committee talking about the work happening across the 5 actions over the past few months.
Ad Net Zero Turkiye and REPİD have demonstrated their commitment in driving action since their launch in May of this yearand since that time, they have forged an amazing team to support the industry across Turkiye.
