Maximilian Urban, Information Security Officer at Netz Niederösterreich GmbH, brings a wealth of experience in managing this balance between innovation and protection. Max leads Controlling, Regulation, and Cybersecurity at Lower Austria’s Electricity and Gas DSO and serves as a driving force behind several European cybersecurity initiatives. He is Chairman of the Working Group IT Security at Oesterreichs Energie, Chairman of the Task Force 4 Cybersecurity at E.DSO, and Vice-Chair of the Working Group Sustainable Network Technology at Eurelectric — representing Austrian DSOs and Netz NÖ at Eurelectric and the EU DSO Entity.
