About us

The European Union Space Programme covers a broad range of space activities, including Earth observation, satellite navigation, connectivity, space situational awareness, entrepreneurship and research and innovation. It supports Europe's space industry by fostering collaboration and driving the growth of a ‘New Space’ ecosystem. The EU Space Programme consists of the following components: # Copernicus for Earth Observation # Galileo/EGNOS for satellite navigation # GOVSATCOM/ IRIS² for secure connectivity # Space Situational Awareness to protect our satellites and ground infrastructures from threats The programme is managed by the European Commission and is implemented in partnership with EUSPA, ESA, EUMETSAT, and other key stakeholders.
