NEW WORK - Brussels is the only region in Belgium where slaughter without stunning is still allowed. Also, it's the only region that doesn't use an animal on their flag. Together with GAIA (Global Action in the Interest of Animals), we turned the official flag of Brussels into a GAIA flag, using a bleeding sheep as the new symbol. And today, by spreading hundreds of flags across the city of Brussels, we call out the Brussels Parliament to finally ban slaughter without stunning and place it back on the political agenda. Take a picture if you spot the flag, tag the responsible parties and share it on your socials.

Meet Arthur de Schietere de Lophem He once dreamt of playing at Wimbledon 🎾 but now he just watches it between two lines of code. Lucky for us, he swapped the tennis racket for a keyboard and joined Happiness as our newest web developer & 3D motion designer. He’s a full-time vol-au-vent enjoyer (seriously, don’t challenge him on this 🍽️), with a part-time fascination for tech and 3D. Now he’s bringing that pixel-perfect energy to the team, and we’re here for it.

That’s why, together with Parents of Road Victims (OVK-SAVE vzw), we decided to remind people not to use their phone while crossing the road for this year’s edition of ‘De Solidariteitsprijs’.
